Why use a Martingale dog collar?
For safety and comfort! We
offer adjustable and set size dog collars and leads as well as lure
coursing slip leads, and
more.
What is a Martingale collar?
It is a double loop dog collar. The large loop goes around the dog's
throat
and the small loop has a small D Ring sewn in which you attach a leash
to (see middle photo above). Martingales gently and evenly apply
the pressure across the whole throat and neck. Not only are these safer
than a buckle collar by reducing the risk of the dog slipping loose,
but they offer more comfortable than a "choke" style collar.
What is a "Lead"?
A lead is a collar that has a permanently attached leash, ours are 5'
in length. You merely
slip it over your dog's head and slide the size adjustment into place
and off you go!
