Beefcake was my keeper boy from my third litter, however when his sister was returned at over a year of age I opted to let him go to Colorado with Kathy Phillips. She'd been wanting to add another whippet to her home, one to show and compete with and I felt he would be very competitive for her. I'm glad I listened to my gut! Kathy handled Beef's show career herself and took back to back 5 point majors to finish him! The two of them have made me very proud and Kathy has become not just a friend, but a part of my family.
Beefy at 1 1/2 yrs of age, the day he left with Kathy.
Beefcake retired from the ring the day he finished, and he was certainly happy about that (it wasn't his favorite thing in the world). He may hit some coursing events in the future but his main job in life now is giving his heart to Kathy.
