Choice was my
"pick" puppy from PhaseYa's second litter (bred by myself and Kim
Riddle-Carandang). He was exactly what I wanted out of that breeding,
outline, substance, movement, strength and drive. His first show
weekend out garnered his first win from the puppy classes all the way
to Best of Breed (under judge Jon Cole). He raced with extreme drive
and desire.
At 6 years of age Choice started his UKC show career and in 4
shows
he completed his title with 4 Best of Breeds, 3 Group 1s and 1 Group 2.
In addition to his
show and racing careers, he was a working service dog for me, and has
continued that work with his current owner. He is a very intuitive dog
and can sense what his owner needs, be it help getting up off the floor
to comforting a panic attack victim through the tough bouts. His bullet
proof temperament is what gives the glow to this wonderful dog and I
couldn't be more proud of him.
We will very selectively show him and try to get that last
major to
finish his AKC show Championship, but whether he achieves it or not we
know just how special of a dog he is. Choice was bred and produced the
first SaeSi Int'l/Nat'l Champion (co bred with Linda and Mike Stone of
MeLan Whippets). Choice also sired our litter born March 13, 2010 (7
males and 2 females). He is proving himself a very strong stud by
putting the sidegait, outline and temperament we feel is so correct
into his offspring.
