Choice is a 22 3/8" male, OFA Cardiac normal, CERF clear, BAER normal. Lydia is a 18 3/4" bitch, OFA Cardiac normal, CERF clear, BAER normal.

Choice and Lydia compliment each other in so many ways; outline, personality, attitude, elegance and both are determined on the track. This breeding doubles on their dam, Ch SaeSi You've Got the Look, as well as their grand mother, Rotaiva Snowbird, FCh/DT, CR, JC (AKC maj ptd), and increases the occurrence of several personal favorites from years past, including BIS Am/Can Ch Sporting Fields Strider, Eng Ch Charmoll McTavish, Eng Ch Dondelayo Ruanne of Charmoll, Ch Whippoorwill Bohem Aria, Ch Hardknott Maestro of Bohem and many others. This litter has been whelped and raised by Lydia's owners in Kankakee, IL.

This little lass will be pampered and spoiled by Kendra (who is a tattoo artist) and Eric Mastee of Michigan, Linda Stone & Mary Magee. We will be watching how she develops and think she'll be fun in the ring as well as adding a LOT of joy to the Mastee household!

Tango will be owned by Kathy Phillips (Snowbird Whippets, Colorado), Mary Magee & Linda Stone. She shows much potential and we look forward to having Kathy present this girl to the fancy.

Pup 1 was coming tail first (rear feet folded up under him) and after 1 1/2 hrs of hard labor we opted to head to the ER vet. Thankfully the vet on call was a whippet person we all have known for quite some time, Lisa Costello, and we explained the situation to her. The pup had shown no signs of life from just before we headed to the vet and I requested he be pulled with forceps if possible, getting this pup out of the way to allow the others to come naturally. Unfortunately his tail was damaged but he, remarkably, was alive! While we can't prove it, Linda and I kind of think that the shock brought him back from the edge of death. So while his tail may hold him back from the ring, he's just as strong and active as everyone else!
