Parting is such sweet sorrow. Due to a neighbor having
a child that beat on Smooch through my fence at our previous home, antagonizing
him, I opted to send him to a friend who could share his life with me. He
lived in WA with Jane Dennis (who put his major on him) until we relocated
him to the Long's home.
Smooch made a long journey in June (2003), from his
'momma Jane's' hands in Washington, to the big dog show in Montana with
Tomme Trikosko, to Becky Noe's capable hands he traveled from the show to
Colorado. All the while he was making friends and impressing those he met.
Upon arriving in Colorado, Kathy Phillips picked him up and headed out the
next day for Indiana (to pick up her new whippet pup from me) and met with
Sally Long en route in Illinois.
I want to first extend a VERY big thank you to EACH and everyone
who helped bring my "Moocow" back to the Midwest. Without EACH of you, it
wouldn't have come to be.
Also, a very VERY big HUGE thank you to the Long family
for welcoming Smooch into their home and sharing his love, comedic view
of life and sheer beauty. It means the world to me to have him closer to
home so I can share his life again.
With deepest of gratitude to everyone,
Mary Magee, SaeSi Kennels (7/2003)
Contrary to "rumors" that I have caught wind of,
Smooch is neither aggressive or a biter, nor has he ever bitten
one of my own children. On the contrary, they could use him as a pillow
and he found much comfort and joy in that. It's a pity when false things
are said about a beloved dog, and yes I know WHO the rumor starter was. Truly
sad it is when someone you once called *friend* turns vicious like that.

way to the park with mommas Sally and Mary. Smooch definitely is riding
in style and comfort!
The day Smooch met his newest family, the Longs.
Smooch, Sally & I wish to extend a huge thank you to his
"other" mom, Jane LC Dennis (WhoMe Hounds) who co-owned, loved, housed
and showed him from 2000-2003. We owe you much gratitude Jane ... but for
some reason the words THANK YOU seem too little for all you did.
